Pap have never used Lloyds but can recommend First Direct - fab for telephone/internet banking. Only downside is having to use HSBC to pay in the occasional cheque, rubbish counter service, my local branch always has queues.

PAP, I'm not a huge fan of Natwest. They were a pain and were constantly increasing my od despite me constantly asking them not too. Plus a member of the local branch rang my home number at 9am one morning and demanded that she get me out of bed as they needed to speak to me! I wasn't amused as I'd finished work at 2am.

I'm with nationwide and so far touchwood no complaints!

:rotfl: LMC, I don't really have a problem with Natwest. They gave me a very very low rate credit card and I have had no problems ever with them (except trying to lower the £3k limit on my credit card :o). However I have a major dislike to the new cards I have to have  I suppose thats not a good reason to change backs though is it.

Elli, thats one big problem for me a Natwest and Lloyds are my only local bank's. HSBC, Santander etc are all at least a bus ride away, as they are all in town. Bit of a pain if I have to pay in cash/cheques.

    Suppose I shall stay put...
  • He's still going on, I've mentioned studying again and he;s blah blah shorts, blah blah!

    SO now I'm thinking Hugh_Grant_766689.jpg and Romantic-dinner-setting-lres.jpg

Back from my meeting. It was a real eye opener, I had no idea that in this day and age women routinely have to go to London to get an abortion.

I think I'm going to be bad and have takeaway, it's been a tiring day and it's a bit late to cook.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Cheers Beanie, I'll take that as a compliment!

Hugh Grant is old enough to be my dad, but I'd not say no!! :rotfl::rotfl: **Remembers that he lives not far from here in the Cotswolds!**
