  • Morning everyone,

It's raining here too, lots and I can't find my umbrella. So fluffy hair again for me today.

Claire, wow I'm exhaused from reading what you've got planned for today. Take it steady.

Sally, I've got fingers, legs and toes crossed that the sun will come out for you and R this evening. And good luck with the job hunting.

Bettie, enjoy your time off of work.

SRM, yeah that your DH is home but BOO Hiss to all the ironing yuo've got to do.

Butti, :j that the wasps will soon be going.

Gonzo, that's a fantastic step forward for Mrs G, here's hoping she gets it.

Pooky, ouch to your DD foot. I hope you DH hospital visit goes ok.

    Ames, hello.

Downnotout, sorry to hear yuo've split up with your gf but at the end of the day you have to do what's right for you and your cherubs. (kids).

Oh and my weight has stayed the same, not bad considering I polished off a bottle of rose, a weight watchers cornetto, cheese balls (crisps), custard creams and half a packet of rich tea bikkies on Saturday night. And I sent some messages to my male facebook friends to say I fancied the pants off of them! Oh dear! ;)

Morning all, I'm at work doing nothing which would be nice but I have so much studying to do. Luckily I can leave at 12.30pm and go cram!

Anyone know how long it takes for a cheque to show on your online banking? I just paid a cheque in at 10 past 12, got home and nothing is on my online statement? I ask because the woman behind the glass looked less than competent.

DNO - cheques paid into a bank account will not show on your account either online or at an atm until the next working day. They still have to be sent off in the banking and are processed overnight. Only cash shows straight away. Most banks work like that anyhow. Don't forget also a cheque may show but is not cleared until after three working days so the total shown on the bank statement does not always mean the amount is available. Has that confused you!!!
