Average weekly grocery spend?

I think this is a difficult one as your first shop would probably be higher as you would need store cupboard things like Vinegar, salt, pepper etc which you don't normally have to buy as a weekly shop.
I do 2 kinds of shopping. One month would be the big stock up with 12 plus cans of toms, beans, dried pulses and beans etc and that can run to £200 but the next month would be veg, milk, eggs etc and could be as little as £80 for that month. That is for 2 adults though.
I also do a meat shop at my local meat auction and that is normally about £50 but lasts about 2 months with careful planning and sorting the meat out myself once I get home ( one joint can normally do 2 or more if cut up properly)
I also eat rabbit and game from my local farm and that is never more then £4 per carrier bag full.
I think really the answer depends on what kind of food you want to eat.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

It depends on what's on offer and if you keep a stockpile of goods. I was shocked at the increases in prices this week so I believe it's getting much harder to have a set amount and stick to it." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
