in IVA & DRO
Can anyone advise at what stage before entering into an IVA is it best to stop trying to make min payments to cc companies? Will it make any difference to the likelihood of the IVA being accepted if I keep making payments up til the end or should I give up now and keep the money stashed for emergencies?

Once you have spoken to an IVA company and agreed that that is the route you wish to pursue, and your IVA company begin to draft your proposal then it's probably ok to stop making your minimum payments.
It will have no effect on whether your IVA is accepted or not because these bank places are huge... one hand doesn't know what the hundreds of thousands of other hands are doing. Your IVA will be passed to a a separate company (usually a large accountancy practice like KPMG or PWC or most commonly now TIX) who vote on behalf of the banks.Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
