Section 21 served at beginning of tenancy

I know I've read that we should beware if this happens but we have just been given 2 months notice as per LLs rights.
Been here 15 months, spent and done loads to make this our home as we have always been told it was a long let, stunned to get the S 21 and also to realise I was handed one at the start of tenancy, what does this mean? what is the relevance?

If you had one before - and have just been handed one again - it looks like they actually mean it. There'd be no point in them randomly issuing you with an S21 after 15 months otherwise. You need to check with them.... but £1 says they want you out.0
