my computer going mad tonight,switched it on and this message popped up.your computer is low on memory,save your files and close the programme,internet explorer and windows live messenger.
if i go onto a page a message pops up saying something about line one.
now am no expert on comps,what i know is what i have learned through trial and error over last year and half,so please help in the easiest of ways lol

i do have another problem though,how do i clear stuff off my think data drive.
and also thought i was doing back ups but have been doing it wrong,tried reading sticky and ended up bamboozled.

clear what off where, think?, how are you backing up to where, using what software, what operating system, how much ram, what is the commit charge in task manager/performance, really need more specifics.
Ram memory is different to disk space, the message you mentioned may refer to ram, but without specifics it's impossible to give advice.!!

How much RAM do you have - consider buying more if you don;t have much and it is cheap (and the PC isn;t 12 years old)
Check what size your page file is (virtual RAM that uses the hard drive), exactly how to do this will depend on which windows version you have.
Make sure your hard drive is not full -you should avoid getting them anywhere near full as this can really cripple a machine, even after you go delete stuff and make the space free again0
