Fertility Drugs

Options
Hi,

I have paid privately for fertility drugs but have decided not to go through with IVF so I now have fertility drugs which I now need to sell to recuperate the costs. Can anyone recommend the best way to sell them?

Best regards

Bobbi

Nobody in their right mind would buy fertility drugs from a non medical source.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • I have heard that some people will buy IVF drugs from people that haven't been used in their treatment - I do understnad the worries that some people would have not buying from a non medical source.

If you are so sure they're ok, sell them back to the clinic that sold them to you.

I, too, would have thought that trying to sell them on would be a bad idea - you should at least check out the legal implications given that you are presumably in no qualified position to diagnose, prescribe or dispense medication. I would have thought that contacting the clinic you got them from would be your only option.

Wow, if these are prescription only drugs you could be in heaps of trouble for selling these on.

When a doctor prescribes any drug, they have to know the patient's medical history, other drugs they might be taking that they could react with and various other things.

Your best bet would be to try and get a refund from the clinic.

Don't you need a licence of sorts to sell prescription drugs?

I think this may well be a troll post

I'd very much doubt you would get a refund either as they would not be able to sell these on and they would have to be disposed off safely. Very pricey drugs, the best thing to do is be really sure you need them/are going to use them before you buy them.

Yes, that's what I thought. And not sure about the genuine-ness of the OP either, I mean people don't just pop into a clinic and spend £xxx on fertility drugs on a whim, do they? ;)

Perhaps the OP decided not to go ahead with the treatment at the last minute.

Fertility drugs can cost a couple of thousand £ so I can understand why she is trying to recoup some money.

There are indeed some forums where members sell / request unused drugs.
