I agree, i already pay about 70 quid for cut and colour so 10% of that is a lot of money to me!!
I have to pay cash tho so if its a funny amount i often round it up a bit if i'm in a good mood!0 -
Same here, mine's £85 so I'm not leaving a tip - it's a lot of money and in answer to the question I'm always asked when having my colour rinsed out 'are you going out tonight' it's a 'er no I can't afford to now I've had my hair done'.
Sometimes if I'm also buying products and it's £2-£3 off a round figure I'll round it up though.0 -

That was funny Eric! To be honest, I usually do tip as I am mostly very happy with my colour! I leave a few quid with receptionist (it's Toni & Guy) and find that easier than giving to stylist who usually escorts me to reception to fix the bill and then moves discreetly away!
This Sat tho' I had used my change up in the car park and my stylist hung around (not necessarily for a tip I don't think) and I had mo money. He had done a lovely job and I really did want to reward him. That's what really got me thinking about what others do as like most who have replied I find it all a bit embarrassing!:o0
