I bought myself a Fuji S5700 a year or so ago, but just can't get on with it so i want to go back to a 'point and shoot'.
I've been searching for hours, and come up with a few of possibilities -
Fuji J32 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5592317.htm
Pentax Optio H90 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pentax-Optio-H90-Digital-Camera/dp/B0035WT8J4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
Panasonic Lumix FS42 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5592771.htm
Samsung PL70 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5593141/Trail/searchtext%3EPL70.htm
Or can anyone recommend one? It's a minefield!!
I would prefer one with a rechargable battery.
Thanks for any help in advance

A little more information may help - what is it about the S5700 that you can't get on with?
What features are important to you in your new camera?
e.g. large zoom, wide angle lens, viewfinder, good low light performance,
what sort of photos do you want to take? Are you going to print them and if so what size?0 -
I can't seem to get it to take decent pictures even in 'auto' mode, let alone becoming familiar with how to use it 'properly'
Really dissappointed with the photos i took with it last Christmas.
Zoom isn't that important, not too bothered by a viewfinder either. The photos will mainly be of my daughter + the family, some outdoor some indoor. I tend to print no bigger than 8 x 10.0 -
Panasonic make great digital cameras, however the menus are not always the most intuitive.0

Try looking at this

note that with all cameras you need to take some time to play with the camera and find out how to get the best out of it - before taking photos that matter.0 -
Good glass does not come less than £100, you have high ambitions for a point and shoot camera.0

Looks nice photodgm, but can't find it in stock anywhere
My ambition is just 'decent' family photos, not professional shots. I should think 80% of people i know own a sub-£100 camera, they can't be all bad!0 -
More recent - more expensive -
