Bit of a funny old week isn't it? Can't really get my head round the fact that the boys are back at school and I'm back at work tomorrow. Could really do with a day to myself to get back on top of the housework. Hey ho. As you say, it's only 3 days. (Oh, and only 4 full weeks before half term comes round again!!)0

next week isnt a full week either dangers because of bank holiday monday, we have a 3 day week, a 4 day week, 3 whole weeks then a week off

We somehow avoided getting relegated out of the league, got automatic promotion from league two last season and have been in the top 6 all season, currently in the play-offs with 2 games to go
So, so proud :T :T :T
Fantastic result for Bournemouth yesterday, BB. After what must have been the hammer blow of conceding two goals in the last four minutes, Mr Bradbury must have got them right up for it aided and abetted by Mr Fletcher who is a handy bloke to bring on with a situation like yesterdays...:T. Also a good result for Yeovil as with our point yesterday, we're safe and Rovers can't catch us now which is great considering I live in Bristol.
Mixed feelings about Bournemouth going up though.
We've lost Swindon as a derby now they've been relegated plus we could lose Southampton (maybe going up) along with Plymouth and Bristol Rovers (down?) so losing Bournemouth would be another knock as derbies bring extra finance (biggest three crowds this season were Saints, Bournemouth and Rovers). That said, for your sake, I'd love them to go up as lately, they've been a shining example of how a club should be run.
Sorry for the thread hijack, get me wittering about football and there's no stopping me.:D0 -
Day one back at school is done, only 21 more school days til half-term

Tonights plan is to have a go at ds bedroom, you cant even see the floor in there at the moment, so we've decided to set the alarm and do 5 minute blocks, ds thinks it sounds like a great game
So, just off for the first five monute stint, lets see if I can find some carpet in that time
So far today has been a nsd, I also got a statement for one of my isa's, it got £85 interest this year which is totally pants for 12 months interest on £3.5k  May look to pay more off the mortgage instead ...Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

I forgot about next Monday - have linked it in my brain to the fact that it is a 4 day weekend. So, for my younger son, 3 days this week, 4 days next, 2 full weeks and then a 4 day week again as he has an Inset just before h-term.0

Well thats not gone as planned, ds decided he wanted to play and every time I tried to put something away he decided that was the thing he *must* play with  May try again once he's asleep tonight

Dinner is done and cleared away, the dishwasher is doing its thing, enough roasted veg to have with some salad for lunch tomorrow so that makes it nice and easy in the morning (ds is school dinners tomorrow), just off round to the neighbours now to sort out the plans for fridays street party ... well, when I say 'street party' its more of a bbq / drinks down by our garages but we can pretend we're posh can't we??
:rotfl:
It should be nice though, there are 5 flats here and we all have young kids so we'll all chip in and have a nice afternoon / evening, just hoping the weather holds up :cool:Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

Back from WW, I put on 2lbs this week

I knew I was having a bad week and lost the plot at the weekend (well, it was Easter), but have been really good monday, tuesday and today. Clearly that still wasn't enough to rescue the situation
However, the last few weeks I have been losing and i really don't know how as I haven't deserved it, so I guess it all equals out in the end, and as long as i stick to it this week then it should just be a temporary blip

Another week finished
Nice surprise today, it was payday and the new tax stuff has kicked in, meaning an extra £40 in my paypacket which was very welcome indeed  Not sure yet whether that will fit into the budget somewhere so wont allocate it to the mortgage pot just yet
A bit of housework planned for tonight then the wedding / party tomorrow, not sure of the plans for the rest of the weekend just yet.Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000
