• it has taken me 2 nights to read the whole diary Benben and I have really enjoyed it! You are a complete inspiration, well done on bringing your ds up so well and putting up with all the !!!! that is handed to you from the ex. Karma is a wonderful thing, it is just a little slow at coming sometimes!

Feel a bit sad now I have finished the whole diary, but have subscribed so I can keep up with you!

Just a quick thought on ds behaviour, has he ever been tested for anything? His obsession with trains and mood swings may point to something underlying. Sorry if this is a bit much coming from a stranger, don't mean to upset anyone. My ds has a form of epilepsy that makes him really bad tempered( not saying yours has it, but different conditions come out with similar responses.)
Or it could be he is very bright and just not stretched enough at school.

Anyhow, thank you for writing such an interesting diary and the very best of luck with everything.:)

Aww thankyou for that Maid In Cornwall, that was a lovely post :D
Ds has been tested for various things at the hospital, they basically decided he had 'tendancies' towards various things but didn't diagnose anything other than hypermobile joints. I think most of his issues are to do with emotional development, and his teacher tonight basically agrees, unless ds is sure he can succeed at something then he won't even attempt it, very low self-confidence and self-esteem. Please keep posting too!! :)

And in other news .... after a ridiculous amount of emails back and forth .... I am meeting coffee guy again on saturday for what was meant to be coffee .... but after tonights ahem *exchanges* ;) I have a feeling it could possibly be for more ;) :j

:D:D Umm, I think shes still around superpup, but they have only been seeing each other about once a fortnight as she lives about 100 miles away, and I think that despite him saying he was really keen on her blah blah, I think he liked me too and hasn't stopped chatting csince we met, so who knows? ;)

Ah! He's not that keen then on her then! Well, just remember that you're too good to share so once he's hooked, lay the law down! :D

• Thought you would have testing under the belt! my eldest was very simialr to yours, and he was seen as a "challenge" at school (do hate labels!) But today he is a strapping 19 year old who has a cracking job and a 30 year old girlfriend:eek:!!!!!!! He never gives me a days worry. He completely changed when he was about 10, just seemed more secure and stable, although very little had changed! Wierd, isn't it?
anyway, I was a bit concerned how you would take me asking the questions, so it was a great relief to see you answer.
But after reading the whole diary, it seems i know you!!!
Keep going, you are a great mum and daughter and remember, karma is always just around the corner!;)

Thankyou MIC, I do worry about ds behaviour, he is incredibly stubborn and has a temper that flares up very quickly :o but academically I think he'll be fine, his writing has improved massively this year, its more a case of motivation, he's just not interested in most things they do at school and he's never had that thing that most kids have where they want to please their teacher, he couldn't give a stuff what the teacher thinks :o

I am sooo tired this morning, maybe last night wasn't such a good idea seeing as I'm in a lesson thats being observed this morning, so will have to be very on the ball :o but then again it was lots of fun, and tonight once ds has gone to his dads I'm going shopping for some new undies, just in case ;):D
