Ahh ... weigh-in done ... 12 stone 2.5 lbs :o:o:o I'm always a bit heavier at WW than at home as I weigh myself in the morning before I get dressed, so fully clothed in the evenings is always a bit more. I am going to try not to weigh myself at home this time and just have a major reveal at the weigh-in sessions, another thing that will make me go if I don't know how I've done ;)

Then we went to collect the parcel which was a joke, it was on a trading estate behind the airport, in the pitch black, hardly any signposts anywhere, absolutely ridiculous. Eventually we found it then had to wait 20 minutes for the bloke to find the parcel ... anyway, finally got home, had a quick bath, ds played a couple of games on the wii and now we're tucked up in bed, I'm looking forward to reading the new bumph about ww :D

Spends today = £1.20 on a sausage roll at school :o, £21 at ww (from nans money), £12 in tescos on fruit / veg, some bits for ds packed lunch tomorrow and loo rolls. We also collected the new flask while we were in tescos, its fab, really sturdy, can't wait to fill it up in the morning :D

Tigz, I meant to send you a message; I can't text / phone until 11th as I've used all my credit and I'm really trying not to overspend :) but yes, I did get your message, and yep saturdays are good with us too. Ds is away this weekend (and every other weekend from then on), but I don't think we've got much arranged for any of my weekends with him, so let me know when is good for you ;)

Evening :) Another busy day at school today, I have stuck religiously to my points today, hasn't been hard at all today, normally the first day of a diet is tough but its not been a problem, but still a long way to go. I need to get used to the new points system at WW, I still have 10 points left for today and I've had dinner and pudding already, so will have a nice treat later with a cup of tea :D

I have made some soup for lunch tomorrow, the flat is tidy (apart from ds toys in the lounge). Off for a bath in a bit, ds has had his and is now watching Micheal Portillos railway programme on BBC2 :D

Do you remember the xmas dvd saga with the ex-from hell ?? Well tonight he called ds (and ds finally wanted to talk to him), and he said to him, "Can you put mummys copy of the cmas play in your bag so I can watch it when you're here?" ... part of me is tempted not to send it, why should I pay for it and then provide him with it? I know that sounds so petty but he could have got a copy if he wanted to see it, he just didn't want it enough to pay for it

  • Benben, I meant to say thanks loads for mentioning the Travelodge sale when you did, you inspired me to book 4 nights throughout the year, total cost £42, which will be shared by friends - would not be having these breaks otherwise, so thank you!;)

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Forgot to mention, I spent £13 on more food bits tonight :o I need to meal plan this weekend, getting to grips with this new diet is meaning I keep buying more bits. Also, I had a parcel today from a survey I did a couple of weeks ago, and today I got a pack of 30 dishwasher tablets to test :T Saves me buying them for a week or two ;)

  • BenBen ex sounds like a right idiot, so glad you can rise above it all for DS sake - he will realise when he is older who the 'real' parents is

Finally friday night has arrived :D I have a thumping headache, which I'm taking as a good sign that the diet is working, as I always get a thumping head for the first day or two. I have been very good again so far today, still need to sort out what I'll have for dinner though.

Postie has finally brought me my letter that I've been waiting for re. the situation with the ex. Basically I have to fill in a form and send it back saying when I can / can't attend court, then at the beginning of Feb they will set a trial date ;) Another reason to keep on the diet, I want to look fabulous when I stand up in court :D:D

Today has been a nsd so far, I do have a mystery shop to do later this evening when ds has gone to his dads, and I have several betting offers to look at in my inbox too :)
