Just worked out what that does to my money and once the food shopping money from yesterday is accounted for then I have £22 left to last me til payday next tuesday :o Not much but its do-able ;) The cupboards are full, I may just need some more bread etc later in the week, but other than that I * should * be able to do it, the challenge is on :)

Then I also need to start planning Decembers budget which is going to be incredibly tight again and I will need to be careful not to go overboards on presents / food / going out / the sales once they start :o:o

Hmm, really was just beginning to come round to doing Phoenix cards, and have now found out their prices are going up from £1.20 per card to £1.50 per card in the New Year :( Really not sure now whether its such a good deal ...

Ouch! £1.50 is a big leap......I had a foray into Phx cards when they were £1/card and it was quite hard even though, before the recession....in my work-town, there are a couple of shops that do 5 nice cards for £1, so I'd be reluctant to pay £1.50 per card these days.

Evening all, I really don't know whats up with me at the moment, I feel so down all the time, I just can't shake it off :o I've got no oomph about anything, I feel worried but am not sure what about, I guess its just everything thats going on, especially the financial side of it is worrying me more :( I really don't know what to do to improve the situation though :o

Ds has swimming again tonight but is trying his best to get out of going, and tbh I'm not that bothered whether we go or not, except we didn't go last week either :o

Hey BB, sorry you're feeling blue, I think it's a lot to do with what's going on playing on your mind, Christmas coming up etc... have a nice glass of wine tonight and chill, look after yourself.

BB its a frustrating position you have been put in. Ex's actions have put you and DS at risk and that is not on at all so you allow yourself this time to feel emotion about it, you are not made of stone. Once you processed the changes I KNOW you and DS will be ok and that's because you have been setting yourself up financially over the last few years and being so sensible that you are now in a position to be able to take this blow, thank goodness (even though I know you shouldn't have to!).

DS will know one day that without you none of his life would have been possible so keep going for him, don't let Ex drag you down with him, let him go down all on his own!!

So the pratical stuff is that for now the mortgage may not be overpaid by the £200 (I think?) it was being so does that mean you have to find £141 extra each month somehow to beak even without the over payment? Thats £32 is per week.

    Avon?
    Matched Betting?
    I'll keep thinking

PS I hope you are not offended with me breaking down your figures and making suggestions like this..I just wanted to do something practical to help x
