Can anyone recommend where I can get the cheapest hard drive (internal)?
I am looking for one of around 300 gigabytes.
Thanks

I buy stuff from https://www.scan.co.uk they have offers on each day and hard drives are on at least once week its just a case of picking your make I go for Western digital maxtor are cheaper but are crap in my experience and noisy.
also try https://www.aria.co.uk thy are pretty cheap, I avoid ebuyer they are a pain in the !!!! every time I tried to buy they didnt have stock even when their site said they did.0 -
eBay has some good hard drive deals, but generally make sure that they're guaranteed, and not sold with a DOA warraty. Look for a western digital, very good hard drives. I was very disappointed with my maxtor, it lasted 5 months!0

Just ordered recently 320gb maxtor Sata 2 for £65.80 at Tekheads
I have found Maxtors fine tbh in all my years of using pcs which is since 1989

Scan's prices always look good, but their delivery charge is excessive. I've never had too many problems with Ebuyer myself. I think they're better than they used to be, and their prices are rock-bottom.0 -
Yes Scan charge way too much for postage even for small items. I just bought some pc gear from Tekheads and Ebuyer, Ebuyers stuff came today only ordered on Monday cheap postage0
