...if Toshiba were going to call you or get someone to call you they'd tell you beforehand.

How would they tell you? By calling? ;)

When you call them about the problem. ;)
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

next time they call instead of the above suggestions which although could be fun and some would relieve your stress, it might be worth just informing them that you have now switched to Ubuntu and all the problems which are inherent with windows no longer bother you.

this i would hope would make them remove you from their calling lists since they cant use the windows scams against you in future

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

  • Hi guys,

My Mum has just called me re these people as she got a call from them this morning, unfortunately she let them have access (she told me they were moving her mouse pointer) I have told her to unplug the internet cable and then run her 'Kaspersky' virus program, I have also got a malware program i will run on it as well, I was just wondering is there anything else I should be looking for such as, VPN software they may have installed etc. to control her pc?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.
  • I would advise you reinstall windows for her, who knows what these guys will have done. Also no putting passwords into anything until you have reinstalled.
There's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
