URGENT!! I used to work for this company and was moved to the company next door "1st Money Direct". They claim to be a different company but are completely the same with the same managers/staff. Both these companys will take your card details claiming to do a security check to prevent fraud and put you on hold then take AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY LIKE! They do not offer you 8.4% apr like they claim, it is a massive con!
Do not use this company for anything! I can not stress this enough, I handed my notice in after a couple of weeks because of the things I was asked to do. (also not been paid for the work I have done).0 -

Something needs to be done to put these types of firms out of business. they are scammers but because of current consumer laws can get away with it legally. have had several long conversations to the FSA and office of fair trading confirming this. WE are the ones allowing them to trick us by accepting something too good to be true. It pays to do your homework and i really wish i had done when NIZ took £99.99 from me. im still waiting to get it back. Why dont they take the money after you have recieved the loan, simple... because they would actually have to work for it then.
Public awareness needs to be raised about firms like these to put them out of business. I urge you all to write to local mps, newspapers and consumer watchdogs. Anyone who can help. A simple television news report could cripple these companies and if enough support is generated could see to putting a law in place to ban them altogether. They are preying on the desperate and the poor and taking what little money they have for their own gain. The maths is simple £99.99 times thousands... its big business for doing buggar all. not to mention the comission for selling our personal details on to other fraudsters and scammers. its disgusting!!
