Easyjet name question

I've just booked flights with Easyjet and in the part where I was asked for my name, it stated that it should be entered exactly as it appears on my passport.
Surname...straightforward enough. But my passport also has my middle name next to my first name, so I assumed that I should enter both. But then it occurred to me that perhaps I shouldn't have done this.
Does anyone know if this will be a problem? Easyjet are looking for a £25 to change my name on each flight, but I don't want to go paying it if I don't need to.
I don't mind if they just assume that my first and middle name are actually just my entire first name!

You needn't have given your middle name, but your booking is clearly exactly as it shows in your passport, so no need to do anything0

Thanks for that.
This is actually the first time I'll be flying, and I have another very stupid question -- because the flights were for business, I had to book them this week to ensure the best possible price. But I'm not sure if I'll be taking hold luggage, so to be on the safe side I added it so I wasn't stung at the airport. But do I actually have to now take a bag, or if I discover everything I need will fit in my hand luggage, will that be OK?0 -
If you do not take a bag to put in the hold the airline will probably insist that you go in the hold instead - it's to do with weight distribution. However your cabin bag must go where it was planned so get to the airport early so you've time to get on/off the plane without too much fuss.0

I don't really understand this post. OP I've flown Easy jet loads of times and as long as your bag meets their size requirements for the cabin they will let you take it in. The only exception is on full flights sometimes the last few people to board don't have room for their cabin bags - these are checked into the hold (at no extra cost). In my experience EasyJet are pretty good about this (unlike Ryan Air).
You don't have to use the hold bag option even though you've paid for it and I always find it more convenient not checking in bags.0
