Don't recommend the multi coloured/different sizes, packs of Emery Boards. They are rubbish. Wear out after a couple of uses.

I always buy their simple facial wipes. They are 2 for a £1 and are great value compared to the supermarket or chemist.

Their bulbs, plants, seed potatoes and onion sets are great. Never had a failure. Haven't used their seeds so can't comment.

I get their fat balls for birds at 8 per pack, which is the cheapest I've found and the wild birds think they are yummy!

I'm using a pair of their reading glasses right now. Specsavers eat your heart out!

Great at Christmas time with all their 'jokey' stocking fillers which just get thrown away after Xmas anyway.

I've found their re-chargable batteries are excellent. Still going strong in my solar garden lights after 12 months. Usually in packs of 2 but sometimes 4 if you are lucky!

Have to agree about the plants - I bought a Tayberry there this year (as a single stick about 8 inches long!), thought it was worth a go, did not really expect it to sprout. It has sprouted and is growing really well, will definietely be eating tayberries in a couple of years, if not next year - will be interesting to find out what they taste like!!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
  • I must agree with the rechargeable batterys they are great.
  • I buy Flash one-for-all spray in there, is about £1.80 elsewhere so a good saving, love the lemon one best and brings the counters and hob up a shine :)
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:
