thanks lynz, i try my best and just dont want to lose her over my debts, which is why she knows about them all

ive just left my dream job as one i was getting bullied and two its was being self employed and i want a mortgage, my debts arent that huge but bad enough. ive now got another job with more money so our own place could be here sooner :D

not a great deal shes into really, honestly she does just like chilling with me lol. im due a tax rebate of about £600 pounds soon and although half will go to paying off debts im gona use some to take us away for a few days, even if its in england somewhere just to have some quality time together
  • My favourite thing for DH to do for me is run me a nice bath with some lovely bubbles and then he washes my hair for me, it's the smallest thing in the world but absolute heaven :o)

  • Biglad, if you're planning a hol, have a look on the teletext site, because seriously you are likely to find a really cheap Med holiday is cheaper than the UK at this time of year! :)

You'll probably be able to find a week somewhere end of season for under £100 each - this link shows a Costa Brava hol for £79 but if you're brave you could take her to Turkey for a week for £39 each!!!!

My fav things would be - a back massage :D -
Brushing my hair while I sit on the floor watching TV (I find this soooo relaxing)
Go blackberry picking together and make her a crumble with the produce - yum yum.
Write her a Poem/Dirty story (depending on which would float her boat) and read it to her.

    Good luck xx

I loved it when I got home the other night and he had used the spare key to get there first clean through, cook dinner, make my lunch for work, and ran me a bath. He even bought me a magazine ('more' which I havent read since I was at school some 10 years ago but I couldnt tell him that!). After dinner and my bath we sat and watched a dvd whilst he stroked my hair. I though I'd died and gone to heaven!!! :D:D:D

    BigLad,

Put a pamper kit together. This is something simple and you can do yourself. Go to boots / superdrug and ask for as many different samples of perfume, moisturiser, shower gels, body scrubs etc as you can get. Got to Thorntons and see if you can get a sample of free chocolate, print of those 'tea/back rub' vouchers as mentioned earlier, If you know anyone thats going to a hotel, ask them to 'aquire' the smellies in the bathroom, Get a cheap picture frame and put a picture of the both of you in it.

Next get a free shoe box from a shoe store (bound to have loads lying about). put everything in there (pad it out with shreaded paper). Wrap it nicely. Prepare a picnic or goto a free show/gallery/museum.

Present the gift and bada-bing your the best BH in the world.

    Hope this works.

    cheers,

as well as doin the things on here why don't you write her a letter explaining how great/wonderful she is, what you like about her, how much you love her e.t.c. and basically everything you have just said about her in here, simple but effective!

    I like the letter idea.

I'd suggest though that you should thnk of the things she likes. Does she like her hair being stroked or her back being scratched or her feet being rubbed? Little things like this can really make all the difference.

Another cheap thing might be to make her a mix tape / mix CD of her favourite songs or of songs that mean something to you both. It's a present which shows real thought and effort which is more the point come to think of it!!
