Ok in may i decided to sort out my debts and that i am doing, but the thing is ive had to change jobs as i was getting bullied but dont start till next week sometime so not sure if im going to get paid at the end of this month. Ive in theory got £50 to last me about 6 weeks
no my GF is the best in the world, shes really understanding and i love her to bits. she has even said she is going to pay for shopping etc this month.
ok the main thing is i want to do something for her whcih doesnt cost a lot but will be special for her. we take it in turns to cook and its hard cos we live with my parents to save more moeny as were looking to get her own place, so i cant cook a romantic meal for her. i make her sandwiches for work and meet her off the train, just really wana do something for her which dont cos a fortune but says thanks you to her.
any help would be appreciated

can you get your parents to go out for an evening and get them to leave before GF gets home from work. Then run her a lovely bubbly bath with candles, cook her dinner (even bangers and mash!), get some popcorn going and then watch a film (in your room if yoour parents cant stay out late!) You can even give her a back rub or massage her feet after a long day at work😁0

What about a cake? You could ice thank you on it, or even fairy buns with coloured icing letters on the top
Or you could learn how to make paper flowers? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
How about you find a park a little out of the way somewhere, and take her for a picnic one evening? Not sure if you live anywhere that its practical to do that, but you could prepare some nice finger food, and do the walk, enjoy the sunset, have some peace and quiet together thing.DFW Nerd No. 140

its hard cos when my mom goes out im usually looking after my autistic brother. thats why else shes the best cos shes understanding with him.
usually watch things in our room anyway, but think my brother is at respite in a few weeks so i coudl get it done then. sitting in my room looking for things to sell on ebay lol0 -
As a little pressie, there are some freebies on the freebie board such as http://www.originalsource.co.uk/free_sample/ you could send off for and then make up a little hamper for her - shows a lot of devotion! :AEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

How about getting her some "Gift of time" vouchers. There are several websites you can print these off. I printed some for my DH at christmas they include things like back massage, making a cup of tea or coffee etc. Give them to her as a thank you and she can then claim them when she wants to, it will be a regular reminder to her why she had them. Bit of fun, but free and thoughtful. At least I thought so.0

How about making her a card?Making my money go further with MSE :j

thanks for all your ideas. i like the cup of tea one etc.
its hard cos im trying to do all them things anyway, i think its all in my head, she fully understands and is not a money orientated person anyway, she just likes spending time together.
she always makes my cards and their quality so ill give that idea a miss0 -
What interests does she have? Is there anything related to those you could do?
As an example, my husband loves online computer games. A couple of years back we were totally skint, so for his birthday, I sweet talked a bunch of guildmates and payed them my lifes savings in one game we both play, so that they would help me get one of the rarest items in the game for him (took several days of questing and working together in secret so he didn't find out). I got it for a bargain price in the game, but it was everything I had, and my husband was so pleased with it when he got it - he was completely speechless. He still has the item and shows it off proudly all the time - the novelty hasn't worn off in over two years.
I guess I was lucky to have something 'free' to do that would be so special, but if she has any interests like that it might help give you some ideas?DFW Nerd No. 140
