Errrm I got it from the bridal shop so I don't really know what it's called. :rotfl:

One thing I had decided from seeing lots of wedding pics online was that I wanted one with satin edging, because it shows up so nicely in photos. Sparkly veils are nice in the flesh, but you won't see the crystals in your pictures. When a satin edged one is sitting right, you see these wavy lines of the edging which is really pretty. The left side of my pic as you look at it is doing that - the other side was sitting a bit weirdly.

In the end, mine was actually sparkly and edged as the shop had one with both. :)

Looking at the length guide here:
    http://www.theweddingveilshop.co.uk/id153.html

I think mine was the length of the two layer elbow length, so a 45" one (half that if you have single layer).

As I had a civil ceremony, I didn't put the top layer over my face. The woman in the shop pulled it over and I hated it - what's the point of not being able to see properly when you walk down the aisle? :rotfl: I might have done it if I was getting married in church as it's traditional.

I wasn't that keen, but my aunt really wanted me to have one, and it did look nice. Mine is fingertip length and has a ribbon edge, to match the ribbon that goes around the waist of my dress. I agree re wedding veil shop, they are great value...although i got mine in the bridal shop, but the same aunt paid for it! I have got a comb for my hair though, no tiara, and I am wearing it low down on my head. x
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o
