Growing Courgettes

I must be the only one that can't grow courgettes. Lots of flowers, but fruit always ends up rotting away. I have 4 plants and not one courgette made it so far0

The courgettes on my plants stop growing shortly after the flower dies. They only grow to about 6cm then slowly turn yellow from the flower end. All the plants have been pollinated, I did it myself transferring pollen with a small brush. Each plant produced courgettes well until I allowed one on each plant to grow too large, about 500 grammes. Could this be the cause and is there any way to get the courgettes to grow to a decent size again?0

Are you feeding the plants?
They think that they have 'done their job' when you leave one large one on. I'd start taking them off as soon as they reach 5cm; if they are dying after 6cm.0 -
