Just got my latest statement and the interest rate has plummeted for no reason. Before I was getting about £8.00 nett with a balance of £2500, its just dropped to £0.16. The £1000 was credited within the monthly slot as well. Customer services are useless. Anyone else had this issue?

.....just a wild guess ...... but have you had the account for 13 months?

THe promotional interest rate was only for the first year - mine expired too......

....but if you're savvy and your branch isn't.......

My branch has just let me open the NEW 5% account (not sure they should have ....)

so my £2500 has now moved from 1 account to the other and I'm assured by the branch (Ha!!) that I'll get my 5% on the new account......

No, they should not have done that.
