Can one set up affiliate programs and then use them to buy things, giving yourself commission-I assume that's against the terms and conditions, and the affiliate registration would be the same as the buyer-hence a big red flag?

But what about family members at the same household? I assume friends are ok, but what about family not living at the same address?

As long as you dont use any of these factors you can do it.

same surname
address
computer
your credit cards

So if you go to friends house or a relatives house without the same surname, use their computer and their cards and then give them the cash then there is no reason why anybody would know it is you. Make sure any deliveries go to the house from which you placed the order. Also make sure you never use your own email address, or an address that can be tracked to your address.


I might add though that this is wrong and if caught you risk losing your affiliate account and any commisions that are pending, but as I say as long as it cant be traced to you then you should be fine.

lol....still worth it for big purchases i guess..
just give the address and shopping list to a friend, get them to buy it all in their name and i'll pay them later and maybe split the commission.
