A & L - can't find my details...

Just logged in to do my banking and it says it can't find my details, please try later, does anyone know if these problems will be resolved today?

    I've just spoken to the technical team and they've confirmed that it could be up to TWO weeks before online banking is restored for some people ( me included) and any transactions have to be done by phone (a charge to each call) but because of this situation the branches are being told to do transacions for online banking that they would not normally do.

    Not great news but at least we now know where we stand!

    Just checked my mine and all apears ok so far :o

    Did you all get the letter stating that all A&L accounts are being transfered to Santandar ?

    I wonder if this is the reason for the problems ?

    I had this for an hour yesterday but then it all went ok and now its working seemingly quicker than it ever was... lets hope it stays that way

    TWO WEEKS! OMG!

    DH has just opened an A&L account after we moved away a couple of years ago due to poor service. Thought we'd give them another go. Not a good start!

    When logging into A&L today a message informed me my account(s) were being transferred to Santander. Sure enough, the old account sort code has gone to be replaced by '09-01-32' which is clearly a Santander (Abbey) one. In the 'add accounts' section there was the option to include my existing Santander (Abbey) current account (already listed) so I ticked it and this is now appearing in the 'A&L' summary together with my A&L account.

    I don't use the Santander site - but I assume the reverse (displaying A&L accounts) is now also there too?

    I still can't do any transactions but I followed you instructions above and have added my Abbey Isa to my Santander list which is correct.

    I added my new Santander acct to my A&L internet banking. I can send faster payments from it as per their current rules :)
