Halifax Coin Bag Limit?

Morning. Does anyone know how many bags of coins you are allowed to pay into the Halifax at one time? Can't find it on their website. Thanks.

Last time I was in a Bank of Scotland branch (so would assume Halifax are the same) I was told the limit is five bags over the counter. However the lady at the counter made an exception because I was also depositing a large amount of notes.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0

They state 5 per day on the cashier till signs.0

Usually 5 but it depends, if you have 6 or 7 they'll probably accept it. I had 12 bags last time but I split it between two branches, 7 at the first then 5 at the one around the corner. Therefore if you have two or more in close vincinity of each other then use this method.0
