Hi,
I've finally recieved my appointment for my mental health assessment at the hospital for next week and am nervous already
Please could someone let me know what to expect. Is it long? is it 1 on 1, Will i get an indication of the outcome there and then?
I just like to know situations beforehand as i work myself up no end if i don't and thats not great for my anxiety
Thanks for any help x

my DD is being assessed by CAMHS and if its anything like her appointments the 1st one is a lot of questions further appointments are 1-1 where she s assessed then she is seen by a nurse and then appointment no5 is the diagnosis. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hiya,
Is it an assesment by the Community physiactric nurse?
If so its about an hour and a half and they are lovely. They ask you lots of questions and then you go home. They send the report on to your doctors.Debt free date 23rd march 2009 🥳Autism is my super power 🏳️🌈 🌈✨0 -
hi dont be nervous be happy that you have one they try to make you feel at ease an will not push on any issues you are not ready to talk about they are just looking for a general background as to what or why you think you need there help they will then get back to your doc an let you know what help can be offered
