My OH won an auction about 3 weeks ago now only a dvd and the total including post and packaging only came to a fiver.
What with the baby not being well i hadnt been able to get to a post office to get a postal order has he requested as the only payment method. I emailed him to apologise and explain that as soon as the baby was better i would send payment - got no reply.
A week on baby still wasnt right and with frequent trips backwards and forwards to the hospital i emailed him to explain what was happening and asked if i could pay by paypal that way he would recieve the money instantly and if he had a personal account it would be paid from an existing paypal balance so he wouldnt incur any fees - again no reply.
Emailed him again over the weekend with the same previous message - still no reply.
All emails have been sent through ebay's 'my messages'.
My gut instinct is telling me that something isnt quite right so even though the baby is better i have held off sending the payment until i hear from the seller.
He has 100% 78 feedback, registered for about a year.
Any opinions?

can you email him direct to his email account rather than ebay, he could be on holiday,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

But all messages sent through ebay get forwarded to the main email account registered on ebay dont they? So they would be there already

Forgot to add in OP that I also advanced searched the seller and he has been bidding on peoples items since i have emailed him so he has been logged in to ebay and has ignored the messages.

something about it just doesnt make sense - im just not sure what! Just done want him to start a NPB dispute without bothering to reply to me if you know what i mean if he is going to send the item then i dont have a problem paying i just get the feeling that if i send the money im never going to see the item. The fact that in big bold letters he states 'i do not accept paypal because im not willing to pay their fees' it just all seems oddThe Only Thing Men Can Do Right Is Get Everything Wrong
