Any help would be great.....
To cut a very long story short;
I am writing in response to a visit from Task Enforcement Ltd. To the above address re; an outstanding debt of £198.
This has resulted from a pcn for a congestion charge that I had disputed however to avoid any further charges incurring whilst dealing with this I wrote on the 12th May 2010 and requested to pay by an instalment plan of £5/week as I am not in employment.
For reasons I do not know this was rejected and representatives visited my home at 6am on 9th June 2010 and demanded almost £600 from my wife who was alone with our three children and in no position to pay the money or indeed responsible for the debt.
My wife felt so intimidated by the behaviour of these men she has in fact registered a complaint. However understandably terrified she then went to borrow the £198 and offered this payment to both Task Enforcement Ltd and the men visiting who have both declined to accept.
I have endeavoured to try to resolve this prior to things reaching this stage but have had no success. Unfortunately I have very poor literacy skills and rely upon others to help me.
Not at anytime did these men show ID or produce paperwork.
I have since been arrested and charged with Theft of a Wheel Clamp which had been removed off my clearly sign written van stating its use within the manual labour sector.
I am due in court in December now and as my wife is working not likely to recieve legal aid.
The van is now registered at a different address and in someone elses name.
Am I able to use it? As the bailiff called me and stated
"the van is sign written to F@@@ so next time it is seen me & my mates are taking it!"
Any advice greatly appreciated:(

Seconded...I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
