I would like to grow a fruit bush, maybe raspberry or blackberry next year.
Could i grow one in a huge terracotta pot?

My in laws have two raspberry bushes well established and fruiting something rotten :D and it is only small in size although in the ground.
My husband found me one large pot today and it got me thinking whether i could grow a fruit bush in a pot or not x

If you keep it well watered and well fed I should think it would be fine.

Lovely i shall give it a try :) Thank you.

I have read online that despite some things said to be unable to be grown in pots most can and go on to do so, so worth a try! x

Raspberries are not supposed to be good in pots, but I have two in ground and two in large pot (basically because I ran out of ground space, and they seem to be doing rather well so far

Gooseberry and blueberries also do well in pots :)
  • My raspberry has grown a metre high in a pot a few cm wider than a Morrisons bucket so give it a go :)
