You've been very patient to date. You're not a branch of social services. Phone her, explain the reason why you can't store it any longer, set a short deadline for its collection and let her know that you've no legal obligation to store it for more than a further month and it will be disposed of by then. If the deadline lapses, either bin it or if your conscience won't let you do this, put it into a cheap storage place for a month longer . Don't get sucked into sob stories.0

Technically, it's 'found property' so you could hand it in to your local Police station as such.
Not too sure how happy they would be at taking furniture though.
They would then retain it for a couple of months and you have covered yourself.0
