Hi There
Just wondering where I can get vouchers for entry to edinburgh zoo for myself and my wfie in August?
Can Tesco clubcard vouchers be used? Or are there alternative ways of getting discounts?
Any other bargin days out in edinburgh would be grateful for ideas!!
Many thanks

We've been to Edinburgh zoo about half a dozen times over the last 14 years (since having kids). Each time we have gone Im more & more disappointed, lots of empty enclosures etc, and we won't be going back.0

We to have visited at least once a year for the past 10 years. The improvements are amazing.
The Budongo trail for the chimpanzee's is huge and is widely thought to be the best of its type in the world.
The new enclosure for the 2 rescued Sun Bear brothers has been built around the old Polar Bear exhibit after Mercedes was moved to her new 4 acre home at he Highland wildlife park. The rescued Sun bears have around 3 times the area Mercedes had with indoor heated pool waterfall, fruit shaker trees and honey drip.
The empty exhibits are generally the ones that are deemed unacceptable by modern standards and are set aside for development in to larger more stimulating enclosures (for the tenants). Most of the enclosures now have quiet area's where the animals can retire to, enabling them to escape the constant cameras and noise. The belief is if the animal knows there is a quiet area available when in full view it is more relaxed.
I dont know of any deals at the moment apart for the kids go free deal in partership with Scotrail.Always look on the bright side of life!0
