Quick Sell House Companies

Hi there, any advice appreciated!
I've been trying to sell my house for about 20 months now. Have reduced asking price from £410k to £380k some months ago. We had an offer in Jan below asking price but accepted for a quick sale, after nearly six months they pulled out!!
I'm now wondering if its worth looking at the companies that offer to buy your house quickly for cash? I'm looking to move since divorced from partner but its not an issue of not affording the property just sick and tired of the situation dragging on. While I'm sure they offer below asking price, how bad would it be in current market? BTW the house is a period property in a good area etc
Has anyone had any dealings with these companies? I'm reluctant to get in touch with them to get an initial quote for fear of ending up on a call / mailing list and being hassled constantly!!
Thanks in advance.

Reduce price. It'll be better than messing with these companies.0

Need a few more details to give any advice. You'd almost certainly be better off with reducing price than using a buy for cash type scheme.
How many viewings have you had? What does your EA say? Are other properties near you selling? Can you post your Rightmove link up here and I'll have a look at marketing etc. for you.I'm an estate agent. :j0 -
THanks, We've already reduced the price and are competitive to or below other similar properties. If we drop again any offers would still be below asking price in this market, hence why I'm wondering if the prices these companies may offer could well be around the same mark and less hassle?0

Why not approach one and ask for a price. Remember NOTto sign anything, not to pay ANY upfront fees and to take the price they offer as a starting price only - it's likely to drop again once they've got your signature/'admin fee' on their ambiguous contract with dodgy T&Cs!
However it might give you an indication of how much further to drop your price with your EA and STILL get more than these companies will pay you.0 -
Quick sell companies are likely to offer 20% to 30% below market price.
Try another 5% off, yourself, then even if you get negotiated down a further 5% you will still be 10%+ up on Quick sellers.0 -
As CF has said - these companies will go 20-30% below!0

If your marketing is spot on, you've given it 20 months and still not sold, but others similarly have.....I'm an estate agent. :j0
