Tenants in Common

I have split up with partner six months ago and I am still paying the mortgage. He is making every excuse under the sun why he cannot put the house on the market. He is still living in the house and I am renting as well as paying the mortgage on the house we own as tenants in common in equal shares. He offered me 25 per cent share but I refused as he has not worked for 7 years and I paid for everything. He put down larger deposit than me but I have paid the whole mortgage for the past 5 years as well as a smaller deposit which almost equals out. Can he get more than me ... even though I have financially supported him for years. I could pay the mortgage off next year .... as there is only £30,000 owing, but how can I guarantee that it will be sold to realise my share in this property he is still living in and enjoying the benefits of. I don't want to be renting forever.
