when you diy , do you have to pay your flight in full

hiya , wanting to book thailand diy , do you have to pay the whole cost of the flight or a deposit .

    The last time I booked a flight, it was with American Airlines, and a very cheap / budget style flight, I had to pay in full.

    Usually if you're booking online, it tells you before the payment page if you have to pay in full or not. I would shop around different airlines to see if you can find one that will allow a deposit, if thats what you're after.

    Also depends when you are travelling. Trailfinders do long haul. They only take a deposit and the balance is paid 8 weeks ( I think) before travel.

    Think you need to ring them - don't think you can book on their website. Their call centre people are very good - I ring the one nearest to where I live rather than the 0845 nunmber.
