Can anyone advise?

My daughter is a single parent of a 2 year old, about 7 weeks ago she started a part time job 16 hours a week and informed the social so all benefits changed (dont know if it is even all sorted yet)

We now realise that i am not able to look after the child due to my health, and therefore she will have to pack in work.
Can she do this and still qualify for income support, housing benefit etc. or will she be classed as having made herself unemployed and therfore not entitled to anything.
Thanks for reading.

The sanction rules don't apply to income support.

Thanks. No she would not be looking for work until the little one is at school as she does not want to place her in a nursery or childcare. I wanted to look after her but you forget how livley a 2 year old can be. Once again thanks.
