Newspaper delivery anger !!

We get a free paper delivered every Thursday and without fail the person walks straight across our garden in front of the window. My OH doesn't want me too say anything but in this hot weather, we sometimes don't wear a great deal. I am angry with the girl but at 59 and a bit overweight, I don't want to scare her :D

I have tried calling the distribution centre but after 10 minutes holding on, I gave up. Maybe we should plant some thorny bushes in the way.

Can anyone who wishes to get to your front door actually avoid walking past the window in question???

We had a similar problem with postmen at one time. Contact the newspaper publisher as they won't want any bad feeling from potential customers. The other option is to put something in the way so it's impossible to take that route

Count your lucky stars you get a paper !
We haven't received our in absolute months, have just sent a complaint to our local office so hopefully who ever is meant to be delivering them will either be sacked or taught that the papers they get are actually meant to be distributed rather than dumped in woods ...

As for your problem, when they are delivering just open the door and say -

"Hi, thanks for the paper, can i just ask if you wouldn't mind staying off the grass as we are 'treating it' at the moment"

Maybe you could put on some clothes and actually speak to the girl this Thursday. Just smile and ask her nicely to take the longer route to your front door. I think if you ask her nicely she is likely to respond well.
