I had some root canal treatment a couple of years ago - don't worry too much, it's really not as bad as you think it's going to be. The main thing I found was that it was quite tiring as the treatment in each appointment (I had two) lasted about an hour but if you're being sedated, you'll probably be tired anyway. The dentist also let me put on some music that I wanted which I found soothing and helped to take my mind off what was going on with my mouth. Hugs to you.
