wingo it was just the whole tone of some of them, people who either hadn't posted much or who had really not been on for long, they were so rude I just thought I break would do me good as it was starting to get to me a bit.
I'm OK now I needed the rest. I have to go to a medical for the DWP next week so should be back doing some comps after that, it always winds me up as I have it brought home to me once again how useless I am these days and after being a company accountant for 15 years and now I can't even add up or spell it just sort of gets you down. The counselling helped but it took almost 3 years for me to come to terms with how I am now as opposed to how I used to be.
Think I may need to slef refer back to the counsellor too afterwards she alsways manages to sort me out.If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

The only time I find things a bit ropey in the compers forum (and I'm allowed to say this as a relative newbie) is the inconsistency on who is allowed to ask for votes - some people get 15 pages of cheers I have voted for you & some get straffed the minute they ask - I can never get that
