Firstly NNW - I need to congratulate both of you on your commitment to your further education - you should both be very proud of yourself to have reached PHD level - you need to go (although I will miss you terribly) to waste what is obviously a fine mind & a fine educational level would be mad. I cannnot even contemplate being away from my lovely jubbly hubby for that length of time but I also know from the bottom of my heart if that is what we needed to do we would find a way - we are both very proud of each other (i might delete some of this later as I don't really like being emotional) & I am sure you 2 are too - Go , come back , get a fabby job, get rich (or at least solvent), grow old together - owing money steals your happiness- take your chance at grabbing it back - did I talk too much there
