Completely bored out of my mind today at work as am only one in office and have no-one to chat too. Think am going a bit crazy!!

Not done v much today therefore except
    - eat all the biscuits at work. Would normally be money saving but I bought all these ones!
    - checked all banking and cards etc. Pd £50 to cc and £50 to mortgage arrears
    - looked for freebie cinema tix. made a bit of a mess and had to email them but got it sorted for next mon The Rebound
    - brought lunch with me
    - going to do some weeding tonight and to harvest some of the pea pods from garden.
    - do some horrible financial paperwork filing tonight I think too

Thats all, but dont want to strain myself on my first day back!!

    Hi everyone

    I'm enjoying a free cuppa

First NSD of the month yesterday! And number 2 today.

Cleaning the flat - keeps me out of money-spending trouble :p

    Update spending diary

Put some coins in the jar

    Email and not call

Sort out stuff for early rise tomorrow - can't handle the same panic of running late of this morning!

    Check banking and cc situ

Didn't dry or straighten my hair

    Catch up later everyone

I did not take the dog to the beach... Which was depressing as it would have been ideal weather for it, but the reality is I just can not spare the petrol. Trying to look on the bright side though- thats a few more pence I managed not to spend. The dog doesn't know he got let down either and so still thinks I'm ace (as they do).
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

    Hi everyone :hello:

I am very late today, don't really know why - didn't have a particularly busy day! :o

I got all my guff through from the bank regarding my mortgage switch (my fixed deal is up at the end of this month) which I am VERY excited about - I will not only FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER actually have the mortgage covered by my tenant but I will actually MAKE some money on it!! Yippeeeeeeeeee! :j:T:j:T:j

So I made sure I sent all of those forms back off again - I sent it recorded delivery but used leftover change I had which was not from my weekly spending money - result! And to top it all off - today was not only an NSD but I actually made some money! In my work I had Germany in the World Cup sweepstakes and as they came 3rd I got £5

    Today I also:
    • Walked to work
    • Enjoyed free tea (snap, La Escosesa!)
    • Brought my lunch to work
    • Made tea in advance so only have to heat it up
    • Had an NSD
    • Checked finances
    • Worked out budgeting for next 6 months to account for my new found wealth from the mortgage :D
    • Discovered that I should be debt free by next month!!!!! :jHow excited am I???? Very excited!! :T
Good DFW day all round for me! Yay!

Hope everyone has been having a good Monday!

    Jo :)

Evening All.. sorry it's late today seems to have passed me by some what...

    Anyway, today I have/will:

Packaged up 5 parcels to send off tomorrow sold on ebay - also contact buyer of a pick up item - made £96, including £12 clear profit on a £2 skirt I bought 2 years ago that I have never worn :T Going straight on the CC
10 more (smaller) items ending tomorrow will keep a watch on
Another NSD - including lunch out paid for by some lovely work colleagues.
CC bill has arrived so will match with spreadsheet
Tea from stores (just snack for me - still stuffed from lunch)
Make cobbler with home grown rhubarb for quick pud tomorrow night
Water butt been refilled that I can use for watering where rain didn't get and obviously use on future dry days

    Enjoy your evening x

    1) Rang RMA to attempt to sort out dodgy balance - got some info but not enough so it's on to Amex tomorrow
    2) Accepted offer of free meal out from supplier this week
    3) Got chocolate bar on loyalty points rather than cash
    4) Drank only water from free machine at work rather than buying pop
    5) Had home made sandwiches
    6) Went to Asda and got a ton of bargains for meals
    Taking baby-steps
