he has to refund, as you file an item not as decribed thingy, go to the concert anyway
If he offers to refund the difference between normal price and gold price say no, you didn't wana go in standard seats and wouldn't have bought at all if you knew.
Just go, and claim 100% refund

You bought these too long ago to claim any kind of refund through ebay/PayPal.
If they were a bargain but you don't want standard seats you could try and sell them on ebay yourself.0

Unfortunately you have no leverage at all to use against the seller, you are out of time for any sort of ebay or paypal claim.
All you cna hope for is that you can persuade your seller into some sort of resolution, however I would caution sending them back, even special delivery as if the seller decides for any reason not to refund there is nothing you can do.
Buying items against ebay t and cs (which require all items to be deliverable within 30 days) leaves you unprotected, it might be better to try and negotiate a partial refund from the seller and just use the tickets.

 You are totally wrong.
If the buyer uses the tickets he can't possibly claim the money back..since Paypal would insist he return the goods to claim his cash back. Ill thought out comments like yours would get the OP into more trouble than it's worth.
Irrelevant anyway...since he's months outside any claim period........that's the risk / peril of buying concert tickets way in advance.
Either buy them closer to the time...and goodness knows there were plenty of Robbie Williams tickets going cheap near the time....or run the risk of being stung.

You could put them on ebay as a 1 day listing with Buy It Now requiring immediate payment by PayPal. Even if they don't sell until the last minute you should be able to post them Special Delivery from a main sorting office (ours accepts Special Delivery items until 6pm) and they'll arrive on Friday.0

You do know that the Inner Sanctum tickets for RW at Leeds are going for under £85 a pair on eBay right now??? Standard tickets are about £50-60 a pair.
Sounds like a great way to lose even more money.........

            laura..
Yes, I do have an opinion .....
1 - You advised the OP to do something illegal...my opinion was that he shouldn't !! If that's wrong of me...then there we go...lol...perhaps he should follow your opinion and get himself into trouble....that make you happier does it??
2 - Nowhere did the OP say he wanted to sell his tickets...... so I suggest you read the thread properly and pass your inane comment to the person who suggested that the OP sell something he never ever wanted to sell!!!...Unless of course you suggest that the best option is not for the OP to go to the RW gig ( which he wants to do!! ) but to sell his tickets and lose even more money....... nice use of logic there Laura......you advising him not to go to the gig but sell his tickets at a loss.........LMFAO!!
