Indeed, so just jump in your time machine and problem solved
There are a few things you can do online, but the majority of which are hugely time consuming with very little payoff. What sort of skills do you have? Would you be willing to do something like cleaning/domestic services? If so, put some ads out locally (maybe offer services at an hourly rate slightly cheaper than typical) and see what sort of response you get. Cleaning especially is something that would be good for now as you've got a lot of people moving out/in from rentals; so a lot of landlords want end of tenancy cleaning done.Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0 -
Well thanks for that genius suggestion!
Hence why I wrote need/want in my original post I'm not desperate desperate. I have put £600 aside for my holiday
I just wanted to pay off the rest of my credt cards which is about £250 before I go, and I also need £150 for car park and petrol.
In fact its a very cheap holiday! We are staying with friends apart from 3 nights in a hotel, and my parents paid for the flights.
I have desperately been looking for work, I can't even get JSA coz my husband gets student loans
Maybe ill sell my self on ebay....0 -
Try phoning around your local busy Indian/Chinese Takeaways.
They are frequently looking for delivery drivers, even for holiday cover.
Could make a good few £'s at the weekend for a busy takeaway.
PS. Technically, you should upgrade your car insurance to business use, but that's up to you and either take someone with you, or remove your sat nav from the car window if you are going out of sight of your car.0 -

Mystery shopping as it is holiday time you might be offered a lot of jobs, I made £200 in two weeks with just mystery shopping but I was working all day taking 2-3 assignments a day. It is exhausting and you will be drained with all the questionnaires you can fill but it will get you there.0

Have you stuff around the house that you don't need-use?
If so try ebaying everything that you don't need.0 -

:jI'll bid on that!!!
There's loads of jobs out there, minimum wage and not the best of jobs, but jobs non the less. Cleaners, shop assistants, call centres, warehouse staff, security staff, attendants, waiters, delivery people, kitchen staff, there's allsorts if you lower your expectations a tad. A lot of people wont apply for jobs that are less than, say, £8 an hour, but that's nonsence, and it's the reason so many hard working foreigners come here and then have to put up with us !!!!!ing about no jobs because of the foreigners.
My brother was sick of his call centre job so went down the job centre to see what was about. He applied for 10 jobs, within two weeks he got 7 interviews and was offered 5 jobs. He chose two of them as part time jobs, cover security at factories and a shelf stacker at Marks and Sparks.
When people say there's no jobs out there or that they've been looking for a job for months/years but can't find one, it's bo!!ocks. They're just unrealistic and lazy and expect the state to throw money at them so they can replace the sofas in their living rooms that have become mis-shaping and have unsightly !!!!! prints of where they've been parking their lazy backsides for the last however many months/years, watching Jeremy Kyle and scoffing Pot-Noodles.
There's no need to fill in online surveys or be a mystery shopper or sell rubbish on ebay. The best way to increase your income? Go to the job centre and get a job!!
Good luck.0 -

OMG......that's a sweeping statement. You can't accuse every unemployed person of being a lazy, potnoodle Jeremy Kyle fan. My 17yr old son has been unemployed 18 months now. I've lost count of how many jobs he has applied for. Even for a 1 day a week job at the local petrol station,he is competing against mature and experienced applicants.0 -
Costaerer,
With a bit of discipline and effort you can make £400 - £1000 in 4wks (I did it in 3wks).
It's called Matched Betting - read all about it here: How it's done
WARNING!!!
Not for the faint-hearted or people with addictive personalities!!!
DO NOT RUSH IN!!! - READ & UNDERSTAND THE METHODOLOGY FIRST!!!
I will not say how much I've made so far (that would be rude), but I spent over £3k recently on an African family holiday with some of the proceeds from this technique (it works).GoMakeDatMonee :cool:0
