Hi all,
Does anyone have experience of https://www.countywidesurvey.co.uk?
I only say this as a quote for a full structural survey has come back rather cheap in comparison to most others.
Any info would be great!

Hmm. Flash intro to website. Ugh. Looking at the contact details, looks like a sole practitioner. My first thought is that it was part of countrywide estate agency group, but this does not seem to be the case.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Thanks all. A homebuyers report is coming in at £215 inc vat. If he didn't have many overheads could this be an ok price?
I've looked him up on the RICS site and he appears.
Thanks again.0 -
Could be ok, however the idea might be to get you in with a cheap quote, flag up a load of issues and then charge you some more to do further checks0

So it might be worth clarifying what exactly you get for the money, get it in writing and holding him to it if he tried to push on the 'i need another look' scenario.0 -
instead of a surveyor get a good builder to look it over much better0
