As my response to the litany of miserable, self-pitying and holier than thou threads by people proclaiming "I'm leaving blah blah blah" I'd just like to start a thread to say the opposite.

I'M STAYING!

Yes I have my faults as a poster, I'm argumentative and blunt and so on, but I for one enjoy the conversations, debates, discussions, arguments, toys being thrown out of prams and everything else that comes with being a poster on MoneySavingExpert.com Forums!

So in one of my rare moments of gratitude I'd like to say thank you to everyone who makes MSE what it is and keeps the forum running smoothly (for the most part!) for us all to use and enjoy!

Normal Sandoval service will now resume!

I haven't decided whether I'm staying or not. After reading some of the obituaries in Martin's 'stop the "I'm leaving threads"' thread, I started thinking that maybe I'd like a bit of that love from all the people who admire me.

Now, I've just had a look back at my posts...and, er...I, er...

...and I thought, what the hell, it wasn't worth dying for anyway!

There's a growing culture of "being offended" these days. Some people cannot handle conflicting views or opinions without becoming angry or emotional, and they need to get over themselves. It's not real, it's only the internet!
