Thanks again, Joyfull, for the link and as you say, great to get some consumer feedback.
Just a thought to any of you, who love Avon but struggle to find a decent local rep, I recently found out that you can actually be a 'Personal Avon Rep' in your own right. Needs a bit of 'thinking out of the box' and a bit of help initially from the person, who comes to sign you up i.e. so it doesn't cost you anything* but it IS possible and will allow you to order products at Demo prices (less than the discounted customer prices), gives you access to Clearance goods, free delivery/returns and no minimum order.
Just signed my first Personal Rep up this morning; she's well chuffed in that she's been thinking about doing Avon for a while but didn't want to do any of the 'street-walking' and 'touting for business'. This is perfect for her and, seems to me, probably for lots of other people, who then won't have to rely on another rep. She's now got access to all Avon goodies on a 'try before you buy' basis (Avon has a 90 day no-quibble guarantee), and if her friends/family want to buy off her then she can 'earn a bob or two' into the bargain - result!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I don't buy the makeup now. The colours can be quite different from the photos and I would never buy the foundations because of this.
I have used the eye creams and they are fine. But I won't use the face creams or cleansers since I developed roseaca just incase.0 -

I really like the glimmerstick eyeliners, I have a green and a brown and they seem to wear very well, it takes me ages trying to wipe it off! I also use the mineral powder foundation which is a little dark for me but goes on very well and seems to give good coverage.
I also really like the 'spectralash' mascara but only on the '3' setting (which kind of defeats the point of the 1/2/3 I guess!)
If I want cheap and cheerful 'in' colours or products I usually use elf.
Have to agree with the new frizz serum, it really seems to workfor me! Not so keen on the other hair care products although I do like the almond conditioning balm in a pot (used as a normal conditioner). Love the room & linen sprays and also the pillow mist.
Wish there was an Avon rep round here!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
Our Avon rep is an absolute star - she's really nice.
On the subject of the makeup, I have really sensitive skin but have found the make-up really good - the light reflecting concealer is absolutely fantastic (it got sent as a sub but I like it better than the product I ordered!) like the mascara as well but have given up on anything other than clear lipgloss as the colour always looks wrong on me!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Thanks for the feedback; always good to know what customers like being that there are soooo many products we can't possibly use them all ourselves! :rotfl:
If you haven't got a rep near you, why not be one yourself? You don't have to 'walk the streets' you can just be a rep and sell to Friends and Family (i.e. anyone you know personally) - and actually you don't even have to 'sell' Avon as it tends to sell itself!
Give it some thought!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Glad you've got a good one and thanks to you too for the feedback. Have a lady, who never wears make-up because it irritates her but have just got her to agree to let me order a few things for her to try. Obviously, will be on a 'sale or return' basis (as indeed all Avon is i.e. when you take the 90 day no-quibble guarantee into account). Assume by the light reflecting concealer you mean the Magix? Any suggestions for a mascara please? I really like (now I've got used to it) the new SuperMagnify with 1000 bristles but wonder if the Spectralash maybe on setting 1 might be worth trying - any thoughts?
Re. lipgloss, why not try the Pro-to-Go Limited Edition (silver casing) in Natural Glisten? It's a nice, almost nudey colour but with a bit of a sparkle so just gives you the lift of having a lippy on - casing is really 'posh' looking too and best of all, in C11 it's only £1.99 :TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I have used more hair products from avon and i ordered online
No rep around here that i know of and they do free delivery days as posted on the grabbit board, so i usually save all my order for those days.
I did get an eyeliner a kajal one which is a bronze and i love that, i have sensitive eyes were some products just make my eyes stream, but no probs with this yet.
And the hair serum is fab, i use it as part of the matching moisture sleek smoothing shampoo & conditioner range as well, brill is all's i can say...i've never been sleeker0 -
As promised I'm updating on the Avon make up I bought when ordering the hair serum, I bought a blackest black glimmerstick eye liner for £3, on offer and also a plumping beige lip gloss also on offer for £3.
At the moment I'm doing eyeliner on the inside rim of the eye so needed something with staying power, I had been using a Lancome pencil which has run out but was pretty good for a pencil but the glimmerstick is even better:TIts a twist up so no sharpening, its soft and easy to use but it has plenty of pigment, it didn't slide down my face in the heat yesterday although it did fade a bit but it still looked nice and fresh, all in all a very good buy:D
The lip gloss isn't really a gloss more of a sheeny balm, no bits of sparkle just nice and plain and totally non sticky, the pigment is a bit lacking, its very natural but the real plus point with this product is the plumping effect, it really does make a huge difference, even better than my fav Soap n Glory, you can feel a tingle but its fine and the effect lasts a good hour or so, also cos its so natural you can just slap a bit more on, no mirror required:D
A nice little haul for me, just a quick word about the serum, I have run out my fav shampoo and conditioner (thanks DD;)) and I used other ones before using my serum in exactly the same way as before and my hair looked rubbish:( just goes to show its the combo that works for an individual rather than any one product, I've bought some shampoo and conditioner now so hopefully normality will be resumed:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
