IVA Q: Council tax & water rates
Hello
In my 3rd month of a Payplan IVA & thought of something.
In my area (don't know if its the same everywhere?) I pay my water rates over 8 months (so get 4 months off) and council tax over 10 months (so get 2 months off)
Does anyone in the same position have to pay the extra into their IVA's
I've been over all my paperwork & proposals with a fine tooth comb & can't find anything. I don't want to ask them incase i bite of my nose to spite my face!
Thanks in advance xxx

dunno about water rates, as i pay them over 12 months, but council tax i pay over 10 months, my iva company know about this, i think all they do is average your council tax bill over 12 months instead of 10, so say your tax bill is £1000 per annum, so you pay £100 over 10 months, your iva company probably puts down you pay £83.30 per month, so you dont have to actually give more back into your iva in the free 2 months
HTHTake every day as it comes!!0
