This is coming on well! Those of you who are shy, don't worry about meeting strangers, meet will be in a public place whether North or South, so if you don't like the look of people you can always not declare yourself, although really there is nothing to be afraid of, we are all like-minded people who live in our own way.
JackieG, Souk and Swan would love to meet you all again....bring your lovely daughter too Swan.
As I can arrange my end at blink of an eye, will leave it to everyone who is planning on travelling to set dates and venues etc.

I can't do the first week in October as its DS1's birthday, and there will no doubt be a party of some sort. September is pretty much free for me. Just remembered we have a wedding in October too, will get OH to harrass his friend for the date for that. So, what are we looking at, weekend 3 in September or the back end of October? If its Belfast, I cant come and go on the same day, which is fine, I can find a B & B but anyone else coming from Prestwick will be in the same book. I really don't want to be the planner this time, could someone else adopt the thread, please?

Kezlou, just having checked the flights, Ryanair are now doing £8 flights Newcastle to Dublin.
They are available around then, too.

JC, I can't drive (think Maureen Rees from Driving School with high heels on!) so that's no good either, but thanks X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Hmmm, this sounds interesting! I would do my best to get to the meet - I live about half way between Dublin and Belfast, so anywhere at all would be great with me.0

Dublin or Belfast would suit me - and so would September!0

I think you'll find that Belfast would be cheaper much as I like Dublin as a city.0
