MATH wrote:I have a bottle of cumin which has been on the go since 1987 so beat that. LOL
Mrs MATH took full advantage of me being out of the county for the summer and went through my spice rack taking into protective custody anything more than two years past its sell by but she missed that one. LOLI peel the best before labels off of spices
Mind you, I think I might have one or two without best before dates anyway. Now, when did BB dates come in?:o0 -
Bambywamby wrote:Washing powder always lasts me at least twice as many washes as the packet suggests as i only use half a scoop (having delicate skin) and unless its my sons mud/bike oil/filth stained jeans - the clothes do get clean. Secret is not to over fill the washer.
I do this too but by using 1 tablet instead of 2, been doing it for ages and as you say as long as you dont overfill the drum it washes fine!;)Do what you love :happyhear0 -
We only replaced a bottle of ecover washing up liquid about six months ago. Mum bought it, and she left in 1996! But, then again, we do use the washing up machine!0

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
I bought tesco value shampoo (1ltr/29p) and it lasts me about 6 months, fairly long hair!
I can dilute it a bit and it still works, can't say how much though, as my mum then says I'm being far too cheap  I would say I could probably get it to about 2 parts shampoo : 1 part water
I'm usually good at eeking things out, but in my sleep deprived state (thank you, daughter!) it's difficult to think!0
