Hello

I finally found someone who is ready to buy my flat.

Can I use any solicitor for the conveyancing or should I go to the solicitor (a very expensive one) that i bot the flat from 4 years ago?

Could you please let me know.

Absolutely, you can certainly use a different one and save some money

In my experience you tend to get what you pay for - a vendor was using a really cheap conveyancing company who really slowed the whole thing down. The whole process took about 12 weeks, whereas when I came to sell the same flat it was done in 6! That's just one experience though.

Do use a reputable solicitor though, not a cheap & cheerful one. Having said that, there are solicitors (whom I've had no problems with) (Again, I'm going back a few years, so not entirely sure if some solicitors still do that) that don't charge you if the sale falls through......Look into that! Good luck
